Redis appears in code and environment variables, but it is not defined as a running service in the main backend compose file. It is therefore not documented as an available local service.
The PROJECT_INDEX.md reading path and .project/inbox/knowledge-gaps.md both identify Redis and backend1/Cloud boundaries as areas that still need reconciliation before they can be documented as stable product requirements.
